Frequently Asked Questions:

How long is the battery life of 'x' product?

Typically manufacturers will provide an expected battery life for their products. Independent reviewers will publish battery life test data, we recommend using a third-parties estimates as they are generally less biased than the manufacturer.

We recommend GSMArena for phones.

For products that aren't new, we typically won't be able to provide an exact estimate of the battery life. Generally we expect non-new products should be able to last for 75%+ of the original battery life estimate.

How can I check the battery life/health of my product?

For iPhones, there is a estimated battery health indicator in the battery settings of the device.

For Samsung devices, a general battery tests can be done through the Samsung members app. The provided results is only an estimate however.

For more in-depth analysis. we recommend the AccuBattery app, however it will take multiple charge cycles for it to give more accurate results.

Note: It isn't possible to accurately measure battery health, all methods will only provide an estimate based on an algorithm. This is because a battery's status can't be measured electronically, only the voltage and current output, which doesn't account for temperature, discharge rate, age, rated vs actual capacity and many other factors.
